Bang on TBar. Kemp is the poster boy for everything that is wrong in sports today. Huge talent in a good situation with more money than he could ever spend. And he just pissed it all away. I would love to have him in our front court...he can still ball and damn, he can knock down that ugly jumper too....but one big problem. why would he give back almost all the remaining money......25 mil or something like that..... was it that he still has that snow man problem and it is really bad and there is some clause that would not negated the money and he wanted to save face? or was it that he loves Portland so much for treating him right? or did they give him a large after tax lump sum? I really need to know why he gave it up without much of a fight?
That is a fantastic pic. Kemp was so awesome on the Sonics. It's hard to believe how far he's fallen. He is only 33 years old. He could have 5 more productive years if he would just wake up. Kemp in his prime vs. Duncan would be a good matchup.
Duncan would have killed Kemp. Kemp had problems scoring in the 1/2 court & didn't have the bulk to handle Duncan. Now he's got too much bulk to handle Duncan.

We don't need Kemp...he's just going to be a waste of space on our bench. But if we had the chance back in the day, I would of jumped at the shot of getting the "Rain Man". rockHEAD, I give you props on that pic of that fat kid...that fits Kemp to a T.
