I miss Yao. I miss Chuck Hayes. I miss Luis Scola. I miss the entire 1985-86 Rockets team. I miss Rudy T as both a player and a coach. I miss Calvin Murphy as both a player and the best sidekick Bill Worrell will ever have. I miss Moses Malone, who took a 40-42 Rockets team on his back in the 1980-81 playoffs, and damn near parted the Red Sea against the Celtics in the Finals. I miss both championship teams. I miss a lot of things. After a while, you just have to press on, never forgetting what came before. You hang on to the memories, and hope that new accomplishments by the Rockets create new memories to hold on to. It might be a long wait. I hope not.
I miss Clutchcity.net. And whoever does not miss Yao cannot be a true Rockets fan. Yao may not have won a championship but he deserves to be in the Rockets pantheon of all time great big men. Elvin Hayes Moses Malone Ralph Sampson Hakeem Olajuwon Charles Barkley Yao Ming
This thread seems like it became a, "I'm older than most and remember the players from 30 years ago" pissing contest.
