Did everyone see that banner? That was probably one of the funniest banners I've seen held up in a long time. Glad to see someone in the Summit actually remembered Scottie Brooks.

I don't know he isn't listed in The Player Index On NBA.com. I miss that guy I do remember though he put up a fight when he was traded but he is still one that I miss.

And it was held up right behind the Blazers bench. Classic.

The Thing I like about Scottie Brooks was

1) He hit every three pointer in Tecmo Basketball video game. I won countless championships with him just shooting threes.

2) He was a great cheerleader on the bench. Maybe even one of the factors in why we won our first title. He used ro get them fired up. It was like having a college bench.

Trivia....

What did we give up to get Scott Brooks?
And what did we get when we shipped him to Dallas?

I also liked the banner I saw on the balcony that said "No Pip Hooray!"

Scott toiled for the Timberwolves for two years, then was sent to Houston for a second round draft pick...After two years as a Rocket he was sent to Dallas for Morgan Wiley and, yes, a second round draft pick...but I don't know who we drafted that year in the second round.
