I hate this **** "We look tired." We're the youngest team in the NBA and should have the most energy! Ridiculous!
They are tired. Say what you want. Yes basketball is fun. Yes they are young. But facts are facts: the players have clearly been fatigued for a while and they know that if they even say this coach will bring the hammer down on them. They ARE tired. Whether they should or shouldn't be can be discussed after the season. Whether they should be or shouldn't be won't change whether or not they're tired. Whether it is a good or bad excuse doesn't change whether or not they're tired. These guys are tired. They have been tired for a while. We are the youngest team in the league, but I bet we run more than anyone else. We also have a massive jump in minutes for Parsons, Harden and Asik. Even Lin is playing his first full season with regular minutes. The PF's are all essentially rookies going through their first rigorous 82-game season. You may feel like we're better off riding it out. But that doesn't mean this team is or isn't tired. Reality is that every indicator we have about whether these guys are tired says: they are tired. Mostly I'm worried about Harden and Parsons. Everyone else will get some decent rest between the regular season and playoffs. Those two will probably need more rest than that, and they are both critical to our team.
