We aren't getting Sarr He is probably going #1 He is also not anywhere remotely close to Chet or Wemby in talent level
one of green and smith will be traded and the other won't be paid much. maybe trade green and smith for sar.
I want to impress upon anybody thinking like the OP that Sarr is much closer to Evan Mobley than he is to Wemby. And by "closer" I mean "not as good as Mobley was as a prospect". Also, again--we are not getting Alex Sarr.
Have you seen Sarr play?? Yes there's a lot of potential but he's so incredibly raw. 2 years away from 2 years away. He could easily turn into another Wiseman. He only makes sense if he starts as a reserve and is brought up slowly behind Sengun.
Sure, we could get rid of Sengun, but we don’t have to. There are many things we could do. Trading Sengun is a legitimate option. But, Sengun is the first of our young players to show he could be more than just an average starting NBA player. He’s a player that fights every single game like it’s his last. I can’t say that about all of our other young players. Sengun has some faults, but he can still het better. If he starts knocking down the three(and I think he can), then look out. Sengun is not untouchable, but right now he’s the best of our young players.
Sounds like he won’t demand a max then. Kinda a good thing. How are we gonna pay for this whole thing
You better be damn sure before you trade any of these guys. I’d just add to the talent base until a real star player came available. Even then you should pause. Sengun is a baller
The dude we need to trade is Jalen Green, paying him the max extension will be Ryan Anderson levels of bad and constantly hamstring our team.
I agree but I don’t think Atlanta would give us the #1 for just Green and I want to hold onto the #3 as well
