This team desperately needs a point guard and KPJ is the obvious choice to let go. He can be useful on a team where he has to earn his minutes on a limited role (especially under strong coaching,) . Here he thinks he is the king of the world. He has no motivation to learn and does not improve at all and has negative impact. A break-up is probably best for both parties as he will just have 'potential' forever if he stays here.
KPJ could be a Journeyman until he turns into a solid player, he is 21 years old right now which is crazy, if he was 25 years old and playing this way. He needs to be gone. 21 years old is a huge hesitation for the Rockets.
I’ll go with the organizations and other player opinions over y’all who won’t even let the man play 20 games. Wanted to trade him after 4 games lol
I'm not a Green "fanboi" so that's irrelevant to me. Not going to bother with the rest because it's a pointless argument. Porter and Green have both been bad. I'll leave it at that
Get rid of him for what? You’re not getting anything for him so you’re supposed to see what he can do, good or bad. Get used to this process and stop trying to take shortcuts as if it’ll make the rockets a good team in the near future
I agree with that, both of our young starting guards have been bad. They are still very young and inexperienced, so that's kind of to be expected. Both have shown flashes suggesting potential, but flashes is about it thus far.
the whole team acting a fool tbh. They running the show like Mchale's last year. The inmates running the asylum
Anyways, Im not ready to give up on him yet. Its 7 games, you guys are gonna have to get used to this. Like @RudyTBag has said, dont run away from the grind.
thats what they were saying. I remember that specific line got famous. **** got bad. We had to bring in the military guy from the Maury show.
He's not the guy long-term, but there is no reason to let him go at the moment. The goal right now is development not actually winning games.
You guys are rough!! Remember last yr he played maybe 15 - 20 games and this yr he's only played 9 games as the full time PG. HIS FIRST TIME EVER PLAYING THE PG POSITION and he's 21! And now you guys are ready to get rid of him??
I’m talking more about his attitude in the OP.. he obviously has talent but as long as he’s got that violent attitude I don’t see how he’s going to harness it..
Green fanbois have ALWAYS been ready to get rid of him. They see him as in the way of their guy getting 30 shots a game.
