Aside from defense, what has KPJr improved on? I really want to know

and better defense is cute, but offense and playmaking from a guard, especially your PG, is way more important than that

Aside from.....lol, what an idiotic narrative.

You admit he improved on D, but you don't want to count that......

LOL - another kid that can't root for both KPJ and Green....sad.

I see MFers can’t read…the question was simple…aside from his defense, name 1 other thing he has improved on? If u can’t, then stfu

I can name several things he has regressed on for sure

My new preferred starting lineup (Shengod is high post PG)

    Gordon
    Matthews
    Martin
    Wood
    Sengun

Bench unit (KPJ is off-ball SG, DJ is PG)

    Augustin
    Brooks
    KPJ
    Tate
    Theis

    Bench: House, Nwaba
    G-League: Green, Garuba, Christopher
    Coach: Not Silas
    Owner: Not a ferntit

The better defense aspect is absolutely meaningless. This team is one of the worst defenses in the league. Is KPJr himself actually stopping teams from scoring. The answer is absolutely not. Has KPJr been abysmal on the other end. The answer is 100% yes. Again, people are just now forced to point out some nonsense about his defense bc he's been that bad as a player. And his defense still sucks and isn't even worth being notable. someone who constantly pouts and leaves his team vulnerable bc he doesn't bother to get back is not someone who is getting better

KPJr as a whole has regressed a ton. He shouldn't even be a rotational player by the way he's played to this point

dudes acting like he’s an elite defender now or something…ok, he hasn’t been a bottom of the barrell defender like he was last year…that’s cute and all, but it comes nowhere close to overshadowing his offensive deficiencies

if someone could name just 1 offensive category that KPJr has improved on, I’m all ears…there’s many different things to choose from, so name just one that he genuinely improved upon

Sometimes when you are working so hard on other areas - defense - cough cough - it can have an impact on others.

KPJ is learning a new position, has improved on defense, expect his shooting to move back to the norm.

It is like talking to someone with the IQ of a turnip.

Hilarious watching the KPJ fans try and eviscerate Green over and over. Improving to an average defender from a bad defender whilst regressing everywhere else in his game, giving up on the game when he blows a lay up (which is a lot of the times he TRIES a lay up) and generally tanking anybody else's chance at a good offensive game by holding on to the ball to long only to throw a last second pass that might look fancy but has no chance of success is NOT "playing well" for a 3rd year player with well over a season's worth of games. And those same fools criticise Green who looks about the same level of player after 4 weeks of the NBA...Yeah, that's how it works.

"Working hard?!" Now it's confirmed you don't watch the games. Working hard on defense and what he does after he misses a lay up are literal opposites. Stop trying to gaslight people, WE SEE HIM EVERY GAME ON TV.

He's shot his corner 3's better so far (46%)

But he doesn't take enough of them because he doesn't play off-ball (only 16% of his 3PA)

His FG% at the rim absolutely nosedived, from an elite 74% last year, to a mediocre 56% this year

lmao, what a joke of a post

Is he working so hard when he hangs his head after every missed layup or turnover and doesn’t run back on D?

acting like KPJr is out here locking up and giving max effort on every defensive possession…like he’s Jrue Holiday on D

    MFer please

    try again

the bias is hilarious, and fools act like we don’t see right through it

all this reaching to try and prop up KPJr when he’s just as trash as rookie year Green

No one knew not even Stone that KPJ would regress like this. Thats the entire point people arent getting and are just making excuses. I see rookies from last year taking on new roles and flourishing like Cole Anthony and he's improving. KPJ did not Im not sure what he worked on this summer but it wasnt basketball.

He just lost any and all credibility in this discussion with that comment. How could you watch KPJ play and EVER believe he was working hard on D? Insanity.

KPJ has so many red flags as a basketball player it's not even funny. His best case scenario is Lance Stephenson.

ok, so there’s at least 1 thing so far…the corner three

hopefully he can at least get his free throw percentage above 70%

That habit and the godawful body language that comes with it, are becoming increasingly bothersome.

The consistent pouting after missed calls and/or missed shots is just unacceptable, especially from a guy you would think would be busting his tail to make a great impression this year.

I’ve seen him give good effort on occasion, but DD wants to talk like the guy is PJ Tucker out there defensively giving it his all every possession so that’s why he sucks on offense…I didn’t know it was comedy hour on the GARM

Exactly both Green and KPJ look bad but KPJ at this point should not still look like a rookie thats the point.

Dude looks like a brand new rookie, except that he's actually got an NBA body and years of training and is still not effective at all. But yeah, let's bash Green who generally gets terrible late-clock passes, bad iso looks and zero assistance. Never mind that of the 2 of them, Green is the only one to show anything remotely like flashes of all-star potential. These Mobley fans (which let's face it, most of the Green haters are really riding for him to fail so they can proclaim themselves scouting gods more than they're actually supporting KPJ) need to just move on to his team.
