**** the refs. with fair reffing this may be a closer contest. GS has us beat in talent but we may even it out in a close game if our players can be clutch. clutchness rankings- GSW players- -curry, thompson- capable of going off for 5 3s in a row when hot even in playoffs. but more often -unclutch than clutch in big moments -durant- fairly clutch in big moments -green/iggy- much better in big moments HOU players- -House- absolute no show in playoffs. cannot play in big games. at least we can afford him next year -Capela,- unclutch, plays significantly worse in big moments. especially bad against warriors to the point he forgets how to play. -Paul- on downside of career. NEED him to step up -Harden- can have poor shooting nights pop up frequently in playoffs but more due to defense and reffing. NEED him to play at least up to reg season level. Especially need him to step up in the clutch. -Gordon- inconsistent but has stepped up against warriors all series. expecting a poor night to happen one of these nights. hope its only for 1 game, since we can only afford to lose 1 more. -Tucker- clutch defensive role player. plays with heart and quiet confidence opposite of curry. -Rivers- clutch. he may be inefficient but dont attribute his misses to lack of clutchness. got a tough attitude we need. we need to play him as a sixth man
There were plenty more than 6. The shot that got their momentum back was when donkey hit the three at the end of the third after Curry took 8 steps. I'm not exaggerating - 8 steps! At the three point line with a ref looking straight at him. I'm kind of sick of hearing the refs were bad, but it went both ways. The calls are clearly favoring them Warriors.
Honestly, for me. It was just the first game in the series that was just so wack. The Rockets were robbed of that game by all the undercuts that weren't called. I don't have any huge problems with the refs after that first game. That first game was just criminal.
One play under the basket, Draymond felt Clint's hand touching his back and flipped forward to get a pushing call. I have no problem with that; it's a pretty standard thing. Smart, even. But when Harden kicks his legs out an extra foot on a 3-pointer, he's gaming the system by playing to get fouls, which is ruining the very integrity of the game.
If curry fingers have problems, we can think about the defence arrangements. I find Klay get a lot of rebounds, do we need to find someone to guard him
