Battier takes about 4 charges a game. if u think about it, every charge he takes is taking away easy 2 points from the opponents (since most of the charges he draws from aggressive offensive players driving to the basket or running the break), that's not mentioning the great momentum swing for the other team. imagine the Phoenix Suns going on a fastbreak and expecting easy 2 just to have Battier take a charge from them, they will start hesitating and they will think about it once and twice before they try to go aggressively to the basket.

Battier is one hell of a player.

So without those amazing 3 threes from all over the court and those 4 terrrific charges...the Rockets would have lost by...10 instead of 2?

The 3pters from all over the court are not a good idea. He made them last night, but, he really shouldn't be taking any 3 other than the corner shot. Check out his hotzones at www.nba.com/hotzones and you'd agree.
