What if you are relying on Nene for anything other than a 3rd or 4th big - a backup emergency player, then you are sorely mistaken.

The problem is the player you're describing can not be had with a package of Bev/Ariza/picks (or whatever poo poo plater we can come up with outside of trading Harden). Any trades we make this offseason will be lateral moves at best. Our roster is filled with catch and shoot guys and Harden. The writing is on the wall for how this team will play this year and people don't want to see it.

Bradley isn't an All Star but he is quite a bit above Beverly as far as talent goes!!!

if we're not gonna trade for a good one then cole or jack should be the target. prefer cole cuz he's younger. just need someone who can handle the ball and take the playmaking load off harden.

And that's what i said, younger and a better on defense and offense, but not even close to an all star caliber player, and he'll never be.

    Kendall Marshall...

Marshall and the rights to Lawawu or Korkmaz
    For
    Beverley

The 76's want Beverley and we get Marshall --> dish / 3 point shooter (with a bad knee) plus a young wing to groom when Harden walks in 2 years. Would like both Lawawu & Korkmaz so maybe:

Beverley & Brewers and 2nd (They need to make the cap floor)
    For
Marshall, Luwawu & Korkmaz --> Both can play D&3 role as rookies.

You guys understand that Harden will be bringing up the ball and running the offense, and that Gordon can guard point guards, right? Gordon/Bev will see most of the minutes at the point guard position, while functioning more as shooting guards on offense.

The only real reason I'd like to add another guard is that both Gordon and Bev have been injury prone and one or both are likely to miss time. But what we need is more of a backup/third string guy. Not a big splash starter.

I really don't think Bled would be that hard to grab. I get the feeling PHX is over him.

Lance Stephenson is a FA, fills role of secondary facilitator AND 3-D wing. BR also brings an intimidator to the team. And unlike time when Rockets brought in Artest, who he is compared to quite a bit, Lance is still only 25 and still has upside.

Or bring back Smoove for another min one year contract.

We need to bring back Livingston. He would be the perfect Off the ball point guard next to Harden . Shoots we shouldn't have let him go when we had him.

I would think future first-round picks would be enough to make it happen. The questions is really would we want to spend the assets to make it happen.
