Pau Gasol is a 4x All Star and at once was considered the best PF in the NBA. Can't say we don't have any all-stars on this team anymore! May not be in prime but still...Just saying.

May not be in his prime? He's 31, doesn't overly rely on athleticism, and had almost identical numbers last year to every other season in LA. He's right in his prime.
I really wouldn't mind this trade even wtih the picks "ONLY" if Gasol was 3-4 years younger.. He's already 31 so we are needing to build a championship with the next 1-2 yr time period.. The cap space is what Morey must be after and if we really do go after a big time scorer in D. Williams then I give Morey two thumbs up.. But if it was to sign Nene then who will be the offensive juggernaut we need. Don't get me wrong Gasol is a very "VERY" good offensive player but he needs a legit go to scorer.
