I heard that on TV too.

IMHO, they were poking fun at Rox just as many other media people have been doing all season long. The commentators in ABC also has a little anti-yao going, especially that Messenberger guy.

I am wondering if the players or coaches actually heard the media, like Calvin & Bill. I'm sick and tired of being a joke all the time, does Rox players and coaches feel the same way?

Tom Tolbert just pisses me off. He's a DUMBDONKEY.

He's useless. A player who sucked...

Draft day..."OH...this mysterious guy from China. The next Shawn Bradley. I would go with Jay Williams...oh....Amare definitely is Rookie of the Year."

    I hate him.

There is also a consideration that Yao Ming might still need to learn NBA Low Post Moves......... ........Better get Moses Malone as soon as Yao Ming is back in town.

This surprises me not at all. The national media have been ragging on the Rockets all season long(and justifiably so). Hell, Sportscenter even had entire segments devoted to the Rockets guards and how they'd never pass to Yao. And remember that infamous comment by Johnny "Red" Kerr during the loss in Chicago about how the Bulls didn't have to shut down Yao because Houston had already taken care of that?

The good news is that Rudy, his staff, and the players are out of excuses. If they're unable or unwilling to run the offense through the post next season, it's gonna cost a lot more than just a Rookie of the Year award. Every single one of them will get run.

Alright, I heard it too. I thought Walton was known for his support of Yao Ming on the National TV, so when Tolbert brought up that Duncan has lot of moves only comepare with Jabar and Russel, Walton said Olajuwon is also, and "You never know what post moves Yao Ming has", then laughs. It's more about he praising Yao Ming again on the National TV again. I dont think it was a jab at Rocket'c coach.

I was a big fan of Bill Walton, but now I dont trust anything he has to say about Yao Ming. He was so full of praise for him but voted for Amare for ROY.

I hate Tom Tolbert. I like it when Walton and him get into it and Walton makes him look like a fool.

I used to hate him when he was on NBC, because he would just make stupid comments undeterred, but now Walton and the other announcers have him on a short leash (and vice versa). I enjoy their clever banter. :)

wouldn't worry about that. This offseason, the team will be tinkered with and the pieces that don't fit with Yao will be removed...
