I thought of Rudy Gay at first sight. As an international player, rudy is pretty good a 2/3 player who can score and defend. But the problem is not that he doesn't fit us, that's we have more than enough 2/3 rosters. Tmac, Ron , Shane , Barry four players will have to share the only two positions.
I agree, but after seeing him on the Olympics I think I'll rather be developing him to let go rafer in a couple of years, than praying that AB can develop into a backup pg.
I also though this was another Rudy Gay thread talking about how we traded him which already makes me made but thinking that we could of had Rudy F. too makes me mad. freaking portland! He looks like the next manuel! oh well thats the draft...
It all worked out, I mean, we could have used him last year but he wouldn't have been here even if we'd picked him. Now, SG is a deep position with Barry and Artest capable of giving McGrady breathers where before we had no one. Head will be where he belongs at the end of the bench. Having Brooks rather than Fernandez gave us the depth at PG to sustain trading Jackson away, even if Jackson wasn't very good to begin with. So just let it slide, it's all good now...everyone loves cherry
Only time will tell, my friend. This Blazers squad has enormous potential, they can be very scary, very quickly.
