Hoard has been a pleasant surprise (again, imho) this year. His play would be even more effective if he limited himself to his effective range. You can practically say "clank!" ahead of time whenever he takes a shot from just inside the 3 point line.
You hit the nail on the head...this was the point of posting this article...not to say Howard is a great player right now. But he is doing the most with perhaps the least physical skills right now.
