There is a huge difference between flop by taking a charge, and flop when off ball.

Varegina's flop on Yao was PURE FLOP. Yao was backing down, with his arms up, and Varegina got some sand in his vagina and fell down. That is a flop.

You also have Kirlenko who flies 4 meters when touched by a hand, that is a flop.

Scola, Battier and Chuck all take charges. So even if it was a flop, they intentionally drew contact. Also, taking charges is different, players easily lose balance with both of their feet on the floor and a guy running at them.

I don't mind if people are called for a charge when little contact is initiated, but I do mind when people start flying over the court by a small hand contact.

The Rockets take charges. They sometimes retaliate with flops, but it very seldom gets called for the Rockets.

One bad call deserves another. Unless it's the Rockets, don't give them any make up calls.

    ****ing officials.
