I knew people were gonna say things like this. Make the playoffs, showcase your players, get bounced early and trade your players for a star. WIN-WIN.
we can definitely still make the playoffs, and although we wouldnt want to meet a top team (LA, etc) once we got there, it all depends on how we're playing when those months roll around. We've seen teams struggle throughout the season, but have it going once playoffs came around. Houston has traditionally been a team that could have 50+ win seasons when quasi-healthy, but around playoff times had trouble. I'd much rather have a bad start and finish strong and be clicking in April. We don't suck now, but we're not terrible. We're just a little overwhelmed and stretching our bench. We're not as bad as our record, but all that matters is your record when trying to get in the top 8... lets hope!
9 games till we play Miami, only decent teams are OKC, Memphis, and GS. Go 7-2 and we are back at .500.
I think so too. The Hornets look like the same mediocre team from last year all of a sudden. Suns can't hang with a healthy Rockets team, they barely could with an injured team.
