I am frustrated as anyone else here, but i'm not dumb enough to sabotage any future potential free agent signings.

These NBA players have the same agents, roll in the same circles, they all talk to each other, they know one another, they ran in the same AAU camps, they're from the same neighborhoods.

They talk, they know what's up, and they'll pass along the information.

    Interesting

I think there might be more Daryl Morey fans on here who root for
him over the actual success of the team

    Sorry, I meant for Asian-Americans.
Although both just seemed to breed more racism.

I can't tell you how many times I got called either Yao Ming or Jeremy Lin on the basketball court. Some of them were legitimately being respectful and were just teasing, some of them were just straight up racist douchebags.

Racism exists everywhere man, sucks. Doesn't belong on Clutchfans and the mods are very good at getting rid of these threads.

However, you realize it's the 4th of July and most of these dudes are celebrating the day off as Americans.

So F the rest of the world! America rules! :p

I love the Rockets! All trolls and racists and impersonators can leave...NOW!

Honestly, recently I've seen too much squabbling and hand-wringing over potential trades, FA signings, draft picks, direction of the team, GM stupidity, etc, etc. All well and good if you're a troll and want to stir s**t up, but the real fans need to unite and support this team.

I'm with you Scola and Doc Rob, well said!!! I've never understood why someone who is a racist would even watch basketball to begin with? Guess hockey and water polo just aren't popular enough with the good ol' boys in the south. But there's always NASCAR.

    About the negative post...

that's what happens when you live in one of the most diverse cities in America.

It's mostly a " hazing " rather than being racist. People here in the south like to test people and see how much it takes to get under peoples skin. Once you a person gets past that. They are " Part of the group"...

Some people just say stupid things to be stupid. Some people say things because they really believe it. Some people feel comfortable saying these things, because they have friends that are a different race and can take it, and poke fun back.

Don't agree with it, but that's the south for ya.

Since JVG and SVG have already been said multiple times in this thread, how about Don Nelson? Is he still available?

He would certainly make the games more exciting.

Actually, I'm a huge, huge fan of Rockets CFO Marcus Jolibois. Dude can flat out count those beans.

I'm glad everyone agrees on this, but everyone that's posted in this thread hasn't been a problem. Hopefully the trolls and racists see this.

Great post ScolaIsBallin. The negativity and nastiness that has been on display recently has gotten out of hand. This is not a new thing but definitely polarizing to say the least.

My thing is the people who are speaking the loudest are for the most part the ones that have no clue what they want. One minute they are lambasting the front office for hanging on to their players too long and the next they question why they don't value chemistry. The same people who were critiquing Morey for looking at his players as "assets" are the same group of people crying about Morey's failure to trade for Dwight and then his failure to trade up in the draft. Talk about being hypocritical.

I understand people are frustrated but instead of becoming angry at the organization we should be angry at the players who have refused to play for us.

its obvious man, just check the dates of when they made their account

Also whenever Morey is going after a player.. The Morey Fans will say( YEA LETS SIGN THAT GUY).. In Morey We Trust!... But then when the player tells Morey NO... the reponses change to( WE NEVER NEEDED HIM, HE IS INJURY PRONE.. HE ONLY PLAYED GOOD FOR 2 MONTHS)
