When you use facts to back up Harden's numbers, the casuals start resorting to, "oh, all he does is flop and travel. He also hasn't won a ring." It's the same old story with those people.
I remember the first time I entered this thread expecting it to be about Hartenstein. Now Hartenstein isn't even a Rocket.
why not simply the best player? just because he didnt have great teammates ? rings argument is pathetic
I'm glad this video was made. The amount of assists Harden could have got from his teammates is incredible. He'd probably average over 10 assists a game. People claim Harden is a ball hog, but he's actually passing it all the time.
hey, Harden haters, just be glad he's in Houston and he's not taking off like literally everyone else in the league. Harden can have a chip by now if he wanted, just band up like LBJ, KD, Kevin Love, DWade, Bosh, Ray Allen, KG. it also sucks to play for the Rockets when the media hates us so much.
Great post. That is why I wanted an elite shooter at the trade deadline. Even if we sacrifice some defense, an elite shooter would prevent so many transition buckets from the other team. Look how many of those shots lead to long misses towards the free throw line. It also doesn't help that our best defenders in PJ and Roco are in the worst possible position for transition defense, their own corner. I'm not sure how you feel about Nwaba, but I fear he won't help us hit those corner 3's, which is the entire identity of our team. I would love to see Morey find a specialist, maybe from Europe, that can make teams pay for playing 4 on 3 when Harden gets doubled at half court.
it will be impossible for loyal LOFs like @kjayp who believe it's Harden's fault that their hero Lin didn't achieve his true potential. at the very least can they give Harden the benefit of the doubt? the man physically DID and continue to DO HIS BEST to take the Rockets to a chip. Unless they can name a player who is ready, willing, and able to trade places with Harden and assure them a ring on a platter.
