i guess my main point is that all these elite teams (who have made it deep into the playoffs) are making moves to make their teams even better.

what are we doing? i really havent heard much lately...

God help us if any of these scenarios happen cause these teams are gonna pound us like dough.

    here is a scary though...

elton brand could end up in dallas or san antonio...

Your "point" is based entirely upon speculation. What do you think the odds are of all 8 of your "points" occurring? Pretty remote IMO. Why don't we at least wait until the July 1 signing period begins before we become "prophets of doom". :D

BTW, Elton Brand will not be in SA or DAL for the 2003-2004 season.

Why would you be afraid of any of those 8 happening? Right now we can't consistantly beat Denver or Cleveland. Doesn't matter if you have to face an allstar team, if you can't beat the scrubs, then why worry about the giants?

I don't think our true talent has been exposed. JVG will open this team up to a total new game, and it will take some time.

    Ming is still in development
Francis is finally hitting his peak ... as in getting real NBA experience
    Same for Cat
Regardless, Cato has potential. He is a wildcard.
Hopefully Taylor will come around and be the player he was suppose to be.
    Moochie has potential. Another Wildcard.
Griffen is the biggest guess of all. Will JVG reform him into being something other than a bench warmer?

Detroit went far with little talent but played great team ball. The Rocket's have great young talent, now is the time for team ball. The other teams in the West can sign big names but if they don’t have great chemistry it won’t matter. It’s like tennis; you can have a strong return but if it isn’t in the court who cares. The Rocket’s will be just fine if they find the WE instead of I!

We have a new coach and system. He has been under contract for about 7 days. Give him some time. Things will be better.

This our honeymoon period. We need some action now! After a 100 days it'll only get more boring.

    ?????????????????
I didn't see a wink face next to that quote, so Im taking it that you were serious. That's a wee bit premature don't you think???? By most accounts, he more than exceeded his potential for his rookie year.
For you to say that he isn't fulfilling his potential is ludicrous. You just can't make that kind of snap judgement yet. Ridiculous.

If you had bothered to actually read my post, you'd have more clue about what I'm talking about.

Then playing the lakers or the spurs. they willstart nash, finley dirk, malone, and raef. that is a bad ass team wit rajabell and van exel comng off. Also bradly will be good 6 fouls on duncan or shaq. And, Malone can gaurd both too have u seen his guns. Mailman will deliver

Malone a spot-up shooter and the mavericks are spot-up shooters. So i see him breaking the record wit dallas.he will sign for 2 years and cuban will pay him i think a pretty god salary. And the mavs will kick our ass by 20 again. Out of all teams they kill us the worst.
Also if they did not get malone watch for jermaine o'neal sigh and trade proly get rid of van exel and another playa.
