    I think 65 wins may be a stretch in the West.

    All I care about is making the playoffs and winning in the playoffs.

    look at the line up right now, boston will have a better chance because their big threes had been together over a season while ours still need time to get to know each and develop chemistry. I think by mid-season or 10 games in the season, we will have a better chance against them.

    oh yeah as role player concern, we have a better bench since adding the addition of barry and shane.

    What? I give the talent edge to Houston

    Starters:
    Alston>Rondo, slight edge goes to Alston because he's a better shooter
    TMac>Allen, not even close it's TMac
    Artest=Pierce, it's a wash
    KG=Yao, two superstar big men
    Scola = Perkins, Scola has better offensive game but Perkins has better D

    Bench:
    Battier = Poesy, pretty even
    Landry>Powe, Landry's better overall
    Deke=Brown, two old geezers who can still play
    Barry>House, Barry has size and versatility
    Francis=Cassell, If Francis comes back healthy he's better scorer but Cassell provides championship experience

    Dallas won 67 and were flattened by GS in the 1st round. You're absolutely right BrooksBall.

    So do I, but...

    Starters:

    Alston >/= Rondo. Alston's a better shooter and arguably playmaker, but Rondo finishes MUCH better.

    Tmac >> Allen. Obviously.

    Artest = Pierce.

    KG > Yao. KG can do it on both ends. Yao's defense is still suspect, especially on the pick and roll and against quick centers.

    Scola > Perkins. Perkins is a better defender, but Scola is adequate and much better on offense.

    Bench:

    Battier = Posey
    Landry >/= Powe
    Barry > Cassell. Shooting, size and playmaking.
    Brooks = House. Both can get you points in bunches. House is a better shooter, but Brooks is a better playmaker and finisher.
    Deke > PJ. PJ is solid on the defensive end, but Deke at his age is still more than solid at blocking shots and grabbing boards.
    Luther, Francis, Dorsey > whatever else they have.

    I agree with most but.. mine:

    Alston = Rondo

    Tmac >> Allen

    Artest = Pierce

    KG > Yao

    Scola > Perkins

    Bench

    Battier > Tony Allen

    Landry = Powe

    Brooks < Cassell

    Dorsey = Glen Davis

    Deke = PJ Brown

    Luther, Francis, Hayes < Pruitt, House, Patrick O Bryant
