I'll continue. I am an idiot because,

I was freaking pissed the night we traded Gay and Swift for Battier.

if eddie was seeing a psych he'd probably be one of the better 4's in the game today.

thus, i'd take that frontline anytime.

IMHO, that Francis/Mobley/Yao team was blown up way way too early.

2006, super buff t-mac will make t-mac, without doubt, the best wing in the leaque.

i remember looking at pictures of t-mac at nightclubs from indamix at the time, thinking, damn he's going to be unstoppable, look at those GUNS!!!

    strow + skip + BEEFED UP T-MAC = automatic champions of 2006

    LOL

Wow, nice one! I hadnt heard that name in years along with Venson Hamiliton. I thought Joe Stephens had potential to be in the league for a long time.

IMHO, that was as far as that core could have gone.

Not saying much cause the Tmac/Yao era has yielded the same results, but I like watching the current style of Rockets ball then that ugly iso-ball.

I'm still puzzled with the Francis lovefest that continues to this day, for all his exuberance and and heart and passion and all that wondrous talent, he's still that boneheaded streetballer who thought he was better then he actually was. NBA Championship and Steve Francis would never be in the same sentence unless he was just a seldom used 3rd stringer.

That Superbowl fiasco still puzzles me, why would Beyonce and other bigtime stars would want to party with a 2nd tier allstar player like Francis, they want to party with the Kobes and the Jordans.

I breathed a sigh of relief when we didnt draft him. I was also worried about the Rockets drafting Nick Fazekas. That would've been a disaster.

Right-on! I was SO high on Oscar Torres . . . apparently I was just high.

Here's one that worked out well: I was *SO PISSED* when the Rockets drafted Cuttino Mobley -- I really wanted Cory Carr.

I thought V-Span would want to stick around and prove he belonged.

that is exactly why the lovefest continues.

I was also really happy we traded to draft Eddie Griffin.

But I also thought for sure we were drafting Clyde Drexler, and Rashard Lewis?????? :(

Thought Bryce Drew would be a productive player. Thought Mo Taylor would be a solid 16-9 type guy. I wanted Harold Miner over Robert Horry.

Oh yeah. Well, I'm an idiot because of all the time wasted putting together trade proposals & not one of them has happened. :D But, there's still hope. :D

Agreed 150%. Yao was still a baby and they were getting better every year.

Speaking of the big fella, count me among the idiots who were against drafting him at the time.
