    Its the combination of...

    1. loosing Landry -- the man had a lot of "go get it"
    2. adding Martin for heavy minutes -- defensively not a meat and potatoes guy
    3. playing more Andersen -- good shooter, but not a low to the ground pitbull
    4. playing more JJ -- taller player, good D, but doesn't play pitbull style either
    5. loosing Lowry to injury -- his return will mean more pitbull in the team
    6. loosing Ariza to injury -- Ariza on D always plays hard, don't sleep on it

Ariza and Lowry back will change things up a bit.
And then Yao back, well, that could get interesting.

The reason the Rockets appear to be soft now is because they are, as of now, mainly a jump shooting team.

The team came out flat last night. That's all there is to it. These same guys are "pit bulls" 90% of the time so I won't complain there. What bothers me is how the team came out and played TWO halves of basketball like they were either too tired or too bored to bother hustling on the boards. I've never seen so many rebounds lost because guys just didn't bother to concentrate on securing the ball when it was in their grasp.

RA needs to work on his half time speeches because they came out no better in the second than they were in the first.

agreed, this is a different team, i think we lowry comes back we will gain some of the toughness and hustle back but losing landry is huuuuge. We got in return an efficient scorer that should make up for the lack of hustle plays in the long run.

I expected this team not to make the playoffs. Were just going to have to watch the rockets keep losing.

Because year we will have interior tuffness with Yao and maybe Chris Bosh, Amare, or David lee

EXACTLY thats what happens when you trade a big strong guy like T-fierce for a pansy in k-who?

If we had t-mac, which i think we should all write a letter to les alexadner to sign him again next year, we would be FIERCE as always. Remember us when we had tmac, we weremuch better.

    T-MAC, COME BACK
    T-MAC, COME BACK
    T-MAC, COME BACK
    T-MAC, COME BACK

We lost our radical threats on the court which were Wafer and Artest... they did so much for us. Wafer was able to hit that big shot and neither one of these guys were not backing down to anyone. Losing Landry added to this unfortunately but I like Kevin Martin we just need to get some "radical like I don't give a crap what your name is your down cause I'm going to outplay you type of players back on this team."

He must be joking because none of those guys are real intimidators.
