ESPN headlines are advertising not facts, what a joke. If Howard puts up 40-30-15 on a 5 year old or a 75 he still owned him. He didn't do that on Yao and he didn't own Yao, heck he didn't even play Yao straight up. You'd make a great Magic fan.
I respect you for being a great Rockets fan, sticking with them through the thick and thim. It really is admirable. I am just trying to take the perspective of the rest of the world, who is neutral to the Rockets: Dwight Howard is better than Yao. "Yao didn't get owned that badly" still means Yao got owned. Also realize that Yao is seven inches taller and is suppossed to be an offensive weapon compared to Dwight's defense/rebounding. Yao should be able to score over quintuple teams. Yao is a good, solid player. He is one of the league's fifteen best. To claim that Dwight Howard will not be better than Yao, even if you believe Yao is better now, is tar tar re re. T-mac is a puss. (Just in case you thought I had alterior motives.)
Well we have simular takes on T-Mac. I have a different opinion of "owned". Here is my take on Howard is better than Yao. Yao played Howard 1v1 but Howard couldn't, according to his coach, play Yao 1v1. In my opinion and apparently Stan the Man's opinion Yao is better. You could also look at it as Stan thinks the rest of the Rockets suck so bad you can leave em and it won't hurt you which is pretty much true this season. I think Yao could be more dominant than he is so we are probably on pretty close ground.
I'm glad we could keep it civil. I also don't want you to think that I don't want Yao to be better. I'm the the same guy as you. I live and die by every win and loss.
But the fact remains that rofflesarusholz couldn't have the planned orgasm party with his partner tmacyaofan_12 because Yao was not owned bad enough to his liking. He was especially tormented because Yao actually out-rebounded D Howard 17-11. which is the one stat that he really hoped that he could use to prove the ownage. But he could still have a minor celebration (no orgasm though) because the Rockets lost the game. He's one sorry human being.
After last night's "DOMINANTION!!" by Howard, in their 6 games against each other, the stat line now reads: YAO PPG = 24.00 Rebounds = 9.17 Block = 2.67 Shooting = 54.84% FT Shooting = 76.36% Assists = 1.17 Steals = 0.50 TO = 2.83 Fouls = 3.83 Dwight PPG = 11.33 Rebounds = 10.17 Block = 1.50 Shooting = 44.00% FT Shooting = 66.67% Assists = 0.83 Steals = 1.33 TO = 2.17 Fouls = 3.00
