Correct. Fortunately, he is making some progress on perimeter defense. His 3 point shot should get better too. He is a hard worker and disciplined.

Did you really just say that Jae'Sean Tate is a better athlete than Kenyon Martin Jr? I need clarification. Also, did you really abbreviate Jae'Sean Tate as JST? You realize the sean is part of his first name, right? It is not his middle name. I need clarification.

That's definitely a fun line up but the responsible thing to do would be to dump Wood for the best pick available and tank for one more top pick before leaving our future in Brooklyn's hands and transition to a championship culture.

You're lucky I didnt go full weirdo and drop the Wud and JLG on you to complete my abbreviation fantasy squad!

I dont see KMJ guarding 2's on a switch as well as JST thus I view that as slightly better athleticism. The loose ball hustle. I know I know I saw KJM beat that sht up at the rim a bunch of times, but he's just a slight bit slower to me.

    Now you can rest easy!

Im ok with that. Next years draft is just as good if not better than this year. ROX could position themselves quite nicely if they pick smart and build the roster instead of just grabbing a bunch of talent and hope it works out. I've been saying to mimic the Worriers rebuild into their dynasty years.

Im trying to outscore teams right now. I hope that each young guys athleticism and HOPEFULLY work ethic and wanting to win will make them good enough defenders to get stops at critical moments, but thats a switch everything lineup easily. If Stone prefers a bigger lineup then he can resign Olynyk and KJM comes off the bench as the first forward. Im fine with that too. In all reality John Wall and Eric Gordon could be starters and KPJ and Green/Mobley/Suggs/Whoever would come off the bench. Just spitballing a little bit on my end.

I see no reason why he won't be an adequate 3 point shooter in the next few years. The guy seems to be a quick learner. I actually eventually see more Courtney Lee than I do Shawn Marion myself. People forget how athletic Lee was when he first came in the league. The guy was a starter on a team that came really close to a championship.

I see KJ as a versatile wing player moving forward. I don't see superstar level talent, but he should have a nice long career for sure, and the Rockets have an asset on a rookie contract. I think he'll be hard to keep out of the starting lineup next year for sure, and I think alot of teams will try to trade for him in the next few years.

For me the issue with Martin is his length. While he can make up for being shorter with his vertical, he basically is losing some of what makes him special when he is matched up with guys 6'8''+. At the 3 he doesnt give up as much size or length and so his vertical is an advantage. That, combined with his hot streak at the end of the season has me thinking he will play he 3 predominantly. I think Tate will eventually settle in as a Mario Elie type 2/3 backup.

We're not competing for two more years and in two years I bet he won't be undersized as the position shrinks and he puts on some muscle. I bet at that point we would even go small with KJ at C. That's of course assuming his development continues to go well.

Doesn't really matter in today's game but he doesn't play like a SF. More of a PF/C. Handles is one of the most difficult things to improve so it's hard to see that changing.

Smaller players do not make your team more switchable, better iso defenders make your team more switchable.

I mean the object is to move your feet and have the lateral quickness to stay in front of the ball right? Do bigger guys accomplish this better than smaller guys? I'd rather take Wood's offensive game over Mobleys defensive game. You want to draft a defensive specialist? Awesome, but why at #2? On that note Im a little suspect of this NBA ready defense everyone on Team Mobley keeps feeding me about him. That he's going to easily be able to switch assignments onto NBA wings and keep them checked? How do you really know this? He's never played against other professionals. Mobleys potential has been tested against NCAA athletes that next year will be starting their engineering careers. Too risky for my blood at 2. Rather take a crack at next years Bigs.

Bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush.

With the top 2 pick, you take the player with the highest upside that can impact the entire game, both offense and defense.

Don't just believe all the propaganda you're seeing, do your own due diligence.

Unicorns are prized for a reason.

Our starting lineup for the future should be:

    Mann
    Grimes
    Martin Jr.
    Tate
    Mobley
