I once reported Swoly to the INS. Turns out he's clean, but I'm glad I did it.

In other news...the U.S. has a soccer team!?!?

GEEZ, thanks for laughing, mo' fo's. It's not like I would have LAUGHED at you if it were a MEXICO win. SRSLY, guys. SRSLY. [IMG]

I didn't have time to post after getting home at about 12 from my uncle's house. Sorry about that. NO EXCUSES.

We've beaten the U.S.A. twice in the last 13 games, tied twice, sir.

No excuses. It was TIGHT and well-played through the first half, we wasted opportunities and made a HUGE mistake by leaving BRADLEY open on BOTH goals. I'd say that we toured the United States for a few hours, found the biggest donkey, and we literally fumbled his testicular protective sack with our tongues and lips. No excuses. Sven should be BYE-BYE since the game against Jamaica. I AM BOTH ASHAMED and SAD. F**K.

Does anyone remember my post?

 Haven't I been saying this?!?!?!

Sadly, the Mexican coaching staff don't read CF.net. :(

CHECK THIS OUT, I don't know if any of you dudes have heard about the scuffle and slap of Mexican Assistant Paco Ramirez on Frankie Hejduk :

Just F*KKING SAD. I can't show my face around ANYWHERE today. :( Yes, "all of us MEXICANS are alike." Bring it on.

Just reaffirms my dislike for mexican soccer. Nothing but a bunch of classless punks. Sorry that you have to deal with this kind of crap, SwoLy. That said, I hope to be able to watch the moment when mexico doesn't qualify for WC2010.

yes all 800+ primera players are punks and the coaches too.

I think you will get the most joy out of your one and only life if you focus on the things you enjoy and ignore the things you dislike. but if you want to have hope on someone or something else's demise, your perrogotive. go please enjoy your teams victory and congrulate them for taking their chances. let us deal with our team.

also, there is no way mexico does not qualify for 2010 world cup. in fact i would bet that the most likely country to miss qualification first between usa/mexico for any future world cup would be the usa. although, so long as there are 2 spots for concacaf, i doubt either would not qualify.

I'm sure there are some classy players in the primera. However, I'll show the mexican team and mexican soccer some respect when it's reciprocated.

Any other life pointers you'd like to give me, sir? I am very happy about the victory last night. I don't take nearly the same amount of pleasure in a US win as I do a mexico loss...unless it's against the US. I'm just sick of the disrespect I see out of mexico when it's clear the US is the better team right now. I see it in national team games. I see it in club games. Hell, I see it on the local level.

Last I checked, mexico barely made it to this round and clearly their play has not improved. If there's a chance 1 of the 2 doesn't make it to 2010, I think most would agree that the odds are mexico would be the odd team out right now. They are the freaking Titanic of CONCACAF right now.

WOW! That is just appalling! This reminds me of Oswald trying to trip Beasely after the Landon Goal last time we played in the US.

Just sick. Seriously, wtf is wrong with your team? Reminds me of some of the clubs I used to play when I played soccer in Sugar Land. Seems like there's no sportsmanship in the MEX team. There is passion....but passion can be a bad thing, such as this.....and make the team look like a bunch of PUNKS.

what dont u guys get about there passion? there passion is nothing more than penis envy cause they feel like the only thing mexico can redeem itself with over usa is in soccer and even that they cant do anymore. its just raw emotions and embarassment cause now we literally own them in every single aspect of life including there only national pastime which is soccer. all the while we dont even care about soccer in this country and we still dominate they ass in it as of late

mexico has always fancied itself as a soccer superpower when we all know they aint never been and never will be in the same class as brazil or argentina, so they thought they had just one opponent left to bully around and win moral victories over and that was usa. too bad that aint the case anymore

its just envy and jealousy boiling over cause they equate there soccer to being macho badasses and they aint working no more

First of all, it was Eddie Johnson, not Beasley. Second, it's not the entire team. Don't lump everyone. There are classy guys in that team, but they don't show it because frustration kicks in. I know "wtf is wrong with [my] team"... there's no playmaker and there's no leadership. Their changes of play style at the helm with so many different coaches has only worked towards inconsistency on the defensive and offensive ends. Stop your stereotyping, WTH is wrong with you all? Take note of who are the guys that do the wrong things.

There are press reports that the National Select Teams' director of Mexico won't part ways with SVEN, that it's too much of a knee-jerk decision to do this. I wonder how many knees he's got.

There is only one Tri who should be given a taste of their own medicine... Rafa Marquez. If he were any more dirty, he'd be in a jazz uniform. Other than that I have no big problems with the Tri's, especially with the way they've been playing.

Who is this "we" who "dont even care about soccer"? I saw thousands at the game last night. I sat in a group watching last night. I play in a league that has over 1000 players of all different levels. Like it or not, the USA plays and enjoys soccer...and we're getting damn good at it, too.

Yes, the mexican football, is not going through a good moment, that stupid Rafa marquez, he is supposed to be the leader, but no, he is always making stupid mistakes, that hurt the team, he is a good player, but he loses his head easily. Oswaldo had a bad day too, he could do better in the first goal, and the second one, was an awful performance. I hope they get better.

So, SwoLy your mexican teams, are not doing well, (the national team, not getting better, and the America, is very bad now, lets see if with the new coach, las aguilas levantan el vuelo :D )

    EDIT:
    Uprising,
    From http://voices.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/2009/02/the_hejduk_incident.html
I don't know about YOU, brother, but when Jesus or Mohammed or any other of God's Sons talk, I take it seriously, yo... especially when he says "we still dominate they ass" :D

Yeah, he's on to something. Mexico losing to anyone in football (even though we didn't invent it) is like the United States' Olympic team winning Bronze or losing to anyone in the world in basketball... gosh forbid THAT would ever happen. There's hatred, all right.

david_rocket, YO CREO EN CHUCHO; maybe he should be the MEX coach? ;)

Just got back from my trip to Columbus for the game. Awesome atmosphere but I'm currently sick as a dog due to the crazy weather pregame. Temps in the 30s, torrential rain, hail, 50 mph wind gusts and more.

    It was all worth it.

Mexico should just give up soccer.

It's just sad really. An embarrassment to the game.

leroy420, LaPuente has no ties anymore, so he will say whatever he wants, and his experience in Mexican football will let the press hear what he has to say. He's somewhat right. We're no longer the giant [Goliath], but the U.S. is no David.
    Really. Really?

U.S. should just give up baseball?

U.S. should just give up basketball?

    Softball? I got more.

It's just sad to see you say that. I thought that too in 2004, sir.

He already coached the major team. between Hugo and Sven, he coached the team five games. Some people want Javier Aguirre back, since he got fired from the Atletico de Madrid two weeks ago.
