Man, I wouldn't want to flagrant-foul Andersen. He just looks like the type of person who'd be waiting for you in the parking lot after the game. Then again, I don't think Bynum's too worried about it. Doesn't Bynum seem like he should be playing much, much better than he does? He actually has a better shot than Howard, he can rebound great when he wants to- I wonder if he still has lingering pain or something, or if he's just an underachiever.
Calm Down, just because bynum shoots better FT's than Howard doesn't even make him close to his abilities.
the lakers might wanna consider trying on defense or making a jumper if they want to win this series. what a horrible effort tonight. and i think i'd almost rather they just never call a foul in a nuggets game than call it how they do. edit: lol. quick flagrant for the nuggets (we'll ignore jones tripping kobe though), then kobe fouled on the jumper and no call and then melo jumps into walton and gets ft's. nice and even. edit edit: lets just skip the formality of nuggets possessions from now on and just give them 2 free throws. it would reduce frustration and speed up the game.
why do the lakers keep doubling melo on the block? he's 3 for friggin' 16. that's much better than a wide open 3 for smith. nm, i guess you have to double him due to the new rule that he gets ft's any time he's single-teamed.
First of all, I'm not riled up at all. If you watch Bynum shoot, he has a very smooth outside shot- much better than Howard, who's limited offensively. And the few times when I've seen Bynum actually try, he's been very effective in rebounding and blocking shots. But, AS I ACKNOWLEDGED, he's very inconsistent, so I'm wondering if he's just that lazy or if he is hesitant based on all the injuries.
When Will this game end? damn This is the complete opposite of a Spurs or Rockets game, usually ends in abt 2 hrs this one will last more than 3.
i can understand the nuggets' frustration. they're only up by 15 ft's so far. that should be 50 at least.
The Nuggets might be the better team in this series when it said and done, but for one thing they might be the dumbest championship team ever. Melo sure did pick a right time to get a technical foul.
daryl morey needs to come give a seminar to these two teams on the fact that free throws are bad for your defense. 2 ft's at 80% is worst than one jumper at 45%. apparently nobody on either team gets that and is just willing to foul 40 feet from the basket while in the penalty at any given moment. who would've thought at mid-season that the lakers point guard situation in the playoffs would be about 10 times worse than ours?
only because they're calling anything and everything right now. while the nuggets were pulling away in the late 3rd and early 4th the whistles were strangely silent when the lakers had the ball.
Dude...are you series? They are calling BS, ticky tack, touch fouls and quick flagrants on both teams. They just gave Melo a tech for giving Kobe a pat. How can you say Melo jumped into Walton, but Kobe isn't jumping into people??
