Was he guarding the inbounds pass? I forget. Even if that's the case that's hardly worthy of much praise. It's not like standing there in one spot defending the pass requires much effort (and lucky for Odom's case, not much brain work either). Ariza was the hero in Games 1 and 3. As for the second part, I understand why people say that type of stuff. When Odom is "on" the Lakers are nearly unbeatable but it's been a while since he's played at a borderline All-Star level, let alone this "He looks like one of the best players in league during stretches" talk people keep resurrecting from time to time. I think that's giving him way too much credit. He's the reason the Lakers aren't cruising through the playoffs.
When you lose the lead against Scrubs, that hurts even more. Kobe Comes in with less of a payload to carry.
yeah i dont know if that is a flagrant just seemed like a legit hard foul to me on bynum the refs have been awfully quick in calling anything flagrant especially if you are named Ron Artest
you would think after nearly killing Gerald Wallace, Bynum might be careful of pushing at someones body.
I was just about to say: How long before things get chippy and the weak flagrant fouls come out? I guess I just found my answer.
