Lakers are not playing their best basketball. Not unless that changes, Nuggets will upset.

Nuggets are overrated. They've been beating on scrub teams.

The Lakers won't make the same mistake twice. The Nuggets will win one game in Denver, but L.A. will finish them off at home for Game 5.

I hope the Lakers will beat the Nuggest 4-0; and then beat the Cavs 4-0.

No I am not a Lakers fans at all. I want that to happen to prove that the Rockets (without Yao/Tmac) is clearly the second best team behind the Lakers.

It gives us much more hopes than the Nuggets sweep the Lakers.

Nobody would give Houston credit, Atlanta wasn't considered the second best team in the east after last year's playoffs.

uhm so what ? they have dominated those teams, so why knock them for it ?

they had no choice who they matched up with, but they could beat them soundly, which they did. a good team would do that.

    give them some f****** credit

you could say the same about the lakers

beating a jazz team that boozer wasnt not 100% and did not play at all with okur (which would have been a huge mismatch in the jazz favor)

then beating the rockets in 7 games when the rockets were missing their best player for 4 games of the series, their only other 7 footer all series long and their 2nd best player the entire series.

imo dallas was not a "scrub" team and were playing very very well to close out the season and denver just manhandled them.

the knock on the lakers has been the same all season long: toughness, focus etc...it hasnt changed at all all season and so far in the playoffs so why now all of a sudden? changes do not just happen over night.

All the media jumping on the Denver bandwagon and picking the Nuggets really annoys me. Not good news for Denver.

Who would guard Billups and their bench players (like Kleiza and Smith)?

Who would guard their athletic big men who have decent mid-range and aren't as soft Gasol?

The Rockets were a tough team, but we weren't going to do anything without T-Mac and Yao (and Mutombo). When LA's big men (and guards) wised up they took it to basket, and we couldn't stop them.

Lakers in 4. This one will be over before you know it. Lakers will be free and relieved after that tough Rockets season and nobody on the Nuggets can even come close to guarding Kobe. SWEEP

Is it just me or has the old-fashioned-ness of the Lakers' PA announcer finally trumped tradition and elegance? That guy is just boring and frankly, annoying.
