Convenient to forget Curry's injury last year, and the fact that they don't currently have their head coach. Nurkic was irrelevant even if healthy. Gobert as well. Harden is still playing and has not missed a single playoff game.

    Breaking News:

FBI and the NBA and the CIA are investigating Draymond Green for point shaving.

With 7 seconds left in a 13 points game, Draymond Green intentionally fouled Shelden Mack. Mack hit 2 FT and cut the lead from 13 points to 11 points.
The spread on this game was 12 1/2.

Guys, I think Draymond will be in prison for a long time once the KGB find him guilty of point shaving. Why was he fouling Mack with 7 seconds left??????

Lol are you drunk? Point spread was 13.5. Is this what our country has devolved to with regards to 'fake news'? Sad.

Sports Bettor Who Placed $50,000 Wager on Golden State Stands to Win $500
May 03, 2017 By Samantha Beckett
An enthusiastic sports bettor and Golden State Warriors fan, El Gnomo, in Las Vegas put $50,000 on the Golden State Warriors besting the Utah Jazz in their Western Conference NBA Playoffs semifinals series.

Can the Utah Jazz stop Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and the Golden State Warriors? One sports bettor says no, and he’s put $50,000 on the line to prove his point. (Image: Kyle Terada/USA TODAY Sports)

Should the Bay Area team prevail in the best-of-seven matchup, the gambler . El Gnomo, stands to receive just $500. That’s the reality of taking the huge favorite, and oddsmakers in Las Vegas have little doubt the Warriors will easily take care of the Jazz.

The Westgate SuperBook took the $50,000 wager on odds of -10000. In contrast, a $50,000 bet on the Jazz, that comes to an unlikely fruition on the SuperBook’s +2000 odds, would reward the risk-taker a whopping $1 million.

Sportsbooks feel the Warriors are a sure thing to advance to the Western Conference Finals, but the games still must be played, and $50,000, is well, still $50,000. ESPN’s “Chalk” first reported the NBA betting action.

As for the odds on winning it all, the SuperBook has the Warriors at 5-12, followed by the Cleveland Cavaliers (7-2), San Antonio Spurs (8-1), and Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets at 200-1.

so pat Riley did d-wade dirty but it's not ok for lebron to choose his next destination because lenron was watching the "World Cup" lmao. The NBA is also a business not just a sport.

I don't like how Riley ended the relationship with Wade either. Totally understand it's a business, but to sit there and watch the World Cup with your boys and ignore the guy that you made fly across the country is childish and disrespectful.

Watching the World Cup is not the sin here, well, he sure met with Riley tons of times.

The World Cup is every 4 years, man!

From the report they were already watching WC when Riley and Elisburg walked into the room for presentation.

The only thing here is he could have told Riley earlier he would be leaving. Maybe he thought winning 2 championships is enough and they do not need to talk sincere.

Disrespectful only if you view it from your Heat angle. People knew that the Heat were only a mercenary team with James' heart still beating for the Cavs.

It was a charade for them too when he announced on TV his Decision to go to Miami in the first place.

He could have told Riley before making him and fat ass Elisburg get on the plane. And you may look at it as James bringing 2 championships to the Heat, but they did as much for him. They taught him how to win through tough times. Never forget him getting shut down by JJ BARREA. That was the biggest NBA Finals choke I've ever seen. No way they should've lost to that Mavs team, especially with Wade playing at pre-fat Wade levels.

That is what surprised me too that James had no real love for the Heat as he had for the Cavs.

Maybe it is the hometown discount and the Challenge to be the Man again.

Yup, as for the Mavs series, Lebron is not a known closer, he is beefy Magic in person with a decent shot but he cannot close every game.

That he is not. Even he has some minor flaws and he was not the mentally strongest. Although he had the most pressure of any NBA star.

Nah I think he saw an aging Wade and Bosh and thought he'd have a better chance with the Cavs. The hometown thing was the cherry on top to get him back in the good graces of fans of the sport in general. He jumped ship after getting dogwalked by the Spurs. I do blame Wade a lot for it, as he never developed a 3 point shot which he kind of has now. Also bad timing as they were always missing a real center and they lucked into Whiteside the year after he left.

As bad as it sounds Lebron is a shrewd dude. He knows when to jump the ship and when not to.

In terms of his personal best chance to win a title. It will reflect bad for the fan base but he sure knows how to put himself in the best situation for himself.

Of course after those years in Cleveland where he was tasked to man the ship alone for several years.

100% agree LeBron and his boys are shrewd dudes and smart businessmen. No hate on them for that. My only problem with the way he left was the way he did it (sound familiar, Cleveland?). He basically took a hot steamer on Pat Riley.

Frontrunner superteam fan lol. You were a heat superteam fan and now a warriors superteam fan.

It takes no courage to trust those teams.

    Missing their coach? Seriously?

Nurkic and especially gobert are not irrelevant when healthy. Go back to spurstalk. Scrolling through your post history, you sound just like them punk

Bruh, you're one of the good posters, so I'll go over this again. I grew up in SFL and am still a Heat fan first. I now live in the Bay Area, so it's easy to root for the local team who have no impact on the Heat. I came to this board bc I was friends with CP in college. I guess I just happen to be fortunate that two of the teams I root for became super teams. I did get to see a lot of championships with the Heat, Warriors, Marlins, SF Giants, Gators, and Canes. So maybe I'm a little spoiled in that regard. But NFL success for my teams has always eluded me.

What is this SpursTalk crap? You're seriously buying into that?

Lol appreciate the shoutout. I try to be a good and level headed thoughtful poster but my flaw is getting too hype and engaging posters negatively for nonsensical debates.

I see your situation and you dont have anything to prove or apologize for. My bad and carry on lol

All good, bruh. I try to be level headed too, but the idiot that started the SpursTalk thing is crazy. I've always said that place was a disaster and my laptop didn't even allow me to access the link he provided lol. p*rn sites don't even result in this warning.

I'm hoping that the Jazz get swept in embarrassing fashion and that Gordon Hayward doesn't make an All-NBA team
