Yeah obviously, in fact nobody knows anything at this point, aside that he was already willing to leave 3 years ago...for Charlotte, which wasn't even a good team so...let's say i wouldn't be shocked if he leaves, for Boston, Houston, San Antonio etc...
The Wizards are the only other team in the East I respect in the playoffs. That's the sad thing. Watching the Jazz, I feel like they are a pretty good team. They aren't a **** 2nd round opponent like the Raptors. And it doesn't matter because the Warriors are ridiculous
I think they realize that, a) he's their biggest star and without him, other FAs would be less likely to come and b) if he leaves, Jazz become a mediocre lottery team.
Yea, and people were laughing at Jordan for giving Heyward that contract. "Charlotte just gave $60 millions to Gordon Heyward!! This is going to be Jordan second biggest mistake next to Kwame!! Charlotte better hope Jazz match the contract!!"
I think they realize that a) he kinda looks like them and b) he kinda looks like like them. No star FA's are going to Utah regardless.
Maybe more competitive than the Raptors, but I remember last year people talking about how Cleveland would have absolutely no chance against GS.
Interesting Stats for playoffs so far. Cavs and Warriors both 8-0. Cavs point diff. is +9 while GS is +15 Cavs are actually making more 3s per game than GS. 14 to 11 3pt per.
Yeah i remember that lol, even though personally i always thought he was a pretty good player...a lot of people had Parsons over him ("star potential in Dallas" etc..lol), but i would've always trade him for Hayward even back then when they were in rookie scale, Hayward always had more upside, better nba body, better defender...
This is another reason why i think he may leave -> if he wants to win. There're some very good teams/organizations/markets out there ready to sign him this summer...not that the Jazz are a bad organization or something, but i just don't see them make the step/s to become a top team for one reason or another... One thing he should've clear in his mind at this point is that he's never going to beat the Warriors with this team.
Eh...maybe Parsons was better looking but at this point he limps like an old man, i think he's done with girls too
Depends on what he values the most. If it's money and being the star of the franchise, he ain't going anywhere. If it's winning a ring, he'll leave for another team. Utah's biggest problem ain't the Warriors. It's that they have so many free agents over the next two offseasons that this is as good as it was ever gonna get for them. This summer, Hayward, Hill, Ingles, and Mack will all be looking for new contracts. Next summer, it'll be Favors, Johnson, Diaw, Hood, and Exum. There's no way in hell Utah can keep all those players. I doubt they could retain even half of them. So does Hayward wanna try to carry this team with far less help going forward or does he wanna go join another squad where he can be the final piece of an already constructed puzzle(i.e. the Celtics or Rockets)?
