    They really let gary payton dick them down on that rebound. The refs bailed them out too. This team has 0 discipline

    I wouldn't be shocked if Memphis contests this game due to goaltend, and if there is 0 on the clock when the goaltend occurs, they have a solid case. Doubt a game will be overturned for first time in history, but they have a case.

    EDIT- There was 1 second on the clock when Payton goaltended

    The Pool Report interview was conducted by Damichael Cole (The Commercial Appeal) with Crew Chief Kane Fitzgerald following today’s Golden State Warriors at Memphis Grizzlies game.

    QUESTION: Why was Draymond Green’s ejection deemed a flagrant two foul?

    FITZGERALD: Because the contact in total was considered unnecessary and excessive which leads to a flagrant foul penalty two and ejection.

    QUESTION: What did you see that made the call a flagrant two instead of a flagrant one?

    FITZGERALD: Well, there’s a couple things. The first part was the wind up and significant contact to the face, and then the pull down from the jersey grab and throw down to the floor to an airborne vulnerable player makes that unnecessary and excessive. That’s what led to the flagrant foul penalty two.

    Lol… Grizz are young and inexperienced. Green has 3 rings and a DPOY. I can’t believe they are saying these things. Green is going to have a triple double next game.

    I don’t agree with this call. If it was any other player on the Warriors, it would be a flagrant 1. If Green didn’t hold his jersey, that dude would have gotten hurt pretty badly.

    I think Ja made the wrong play on last shot.
    He had Clark wide open and nothing would have stopped him from scoring.

    Don't even know why they bother to ask Draymond's teammates or Clarke's teammates if that was a flagrant foul 2 or not. Such a waste of time. Obviously, both sides are going to stick up for their guys.

    I’m just thinking a little physics (I could be completely wrong) but I feel like if Green didn’t grab his jersey and try to hold him, he would have hit the ground hard and possibly in a dangerous awkward way.

    But again, I can be completely wrong…

    The Green ejection was ridiculous. NBA refs are always trying to inject themselves into the games.
