Thats why I said in this NBA. I've seen much softer stuff called flagrant than that. Any contact in the head is basically an automatic flagrant now It doesn't matter how the pull down looked. It was after the play was dead and unnecessary. Which is also an automatic flagrant. It's just the rules now.
Anyone who really follows b-ball has to ask themselves: why are all Green's most debatable offenses delivered to the top players? Lebron, Harden, Jokic, Ja. He doesn't play "intense defense" against the eyes, crotches, and backs of lesser players? What a strange coincidence then.
I hate the donkey like everyone else. With that said he’s usually on the opposing teams best player. When you guard the best guys that are more skilled than you… you have to try harder. His whole game is based off effort and playing with a chip on his shoulder though. It’s not like Brandon Clarke is a star.
3 quarter down and this has been a super entertaining, intense and competitive game thus far. Both teams shooting lights out from beyond the arc. 10-26 (40%) for GSW and 13-31 (41%) for MEM. The team that hits their 3's this last quarter will win the game.
Thompson putting on a clinic and showing how to slay moving without the ball is a thing of beauty. Wish more guys would adopt his style.
Dude shouldn't be in the league anymore to protect against a serious if not fatal injury from one of his fouls. He's done flying drop kicks before as well.
Welp. This is where experience would have helped. Also, Memphis, stop jumping at every possible shot. Defenders just get pump faked to oblivion.
Curry missed some wide open 3's and had a couple rimmed out, but he made a huge def play down the stretch.
