Adams like all slow footed centers are liabilities on pick and roll plays and are increasingly getting less playing time due to be hunted. Look for Adams to also get limited minutes versus the Warriors, due to Curry and Poole. Adams absences will be key for Memphis rebounding and JJJ. With Adams on the court he is much less foul prone but without him.on the court his foul rate increases by over 40%. JJJ has had foul troubles all season and it's only gotten worst in the playoffs avg 5 fouls in just over 24 minutes per game.
Memphis has the defenders to match up to Warriors small death line up. Rooting for Memphis to knock out the Warriors, especially because I don't want b**** ass Curry showboating. I'm going to say Memphis in 6.
For those of you that haven't followed the grizzlies much, there is bound to be another angle: the Dillon Brooks vs Andre Igudolla subplot. Point blank, Dillon Brooks don't like Iggy one bit and he makes a point to let Iggy know that every game he plays them. This all stems from when Iggy dissed Memphis by not wanting to play on the team. The hatred is real between them. And aside from the fact that Curry loves to befriend his enemies I doubt many other grizzlies players like the Warriors that much either, so bet against the grizzlies at your peril.
Warriors in 5 or 6. Still not betting against their core and for good reason. They simply know how to win and play together and the Warriors are not going to lose games when they go up big...that is and has always been a very frontrunning team that plays very loose and free once they feel comfortable. People talk about Ja's edge but don't let baby face smiling Curry fool you. He plays with an edge too in these sorts of matchups... Also, look out for the nut kicks and eye pokes from the Warriors...could always change a series...
Iggy is going to be out, heading into the first few games of the series. Also, if Brooks (or any other Grizzlies player) allows a 38 year old player who barely cracks their rotation to bother them, then they need to increase their mental fortitude. Because that would be pathetic.
Who says that the Warriors will get up big. The warriors aren't the twolves. And who said the twolves LET the grizzlies come back. That's like saying the free throw line let ja make 7 of 8 down the stretch of game 5. The grizzlies just don't lose - they are memcity clutch that don't bluff
They used to be you mean. They don't have KD anymore and they are older. Without Steph this year they went 2 and 8 down the stretch. They are far from a championship contender. But we will find out.
Here comes the Golden State Warriors gaslighting. Anyway, why did the NBA make the grizzlies play on Sunday, which is an advantage for the Warriors.
