Yeah this game was definitely one-sided refereeing for parts of it. That one sequence were Kawhi jumped into Millsap who still made an impossible lay-up being a non-call yet someone running into Jokic or Plumlee being a foul is just bullshit. That being said, had Murray showed even some flashes of his god-like performances in the Utah series, this game would still have been the Nuggets. I give credit to Clippers' defense still, even Beverley had some great key steals. But his attitude is so off-putting.

 

Denver stayed close the whole game, but couldn't close the deal the last 3 minutes.

 

yeah, like the game 2 of this series when he scored 0 points in the 4th and the clippers lost to the underdog

Everybody can shoot 3, play good D, taller than us on average. What's more, both PG n Kwahi can play at a relatively high level each game n know how to find back their touch even when have an off night.

 

Not so fun when it's your team on the short end of the stick.

 

I wonder how often does a team overcome a 10+ Free Throw differential ?

I suspect that the team with the extra 10+ wins like 80% of the time.

People dismiss it as they were "more aggressive"
I think Denver was doing more in the paint though.

Defensive rep maybe more valuable than actual defense.

Jamal Murray had a cute little 1st round series, but has since fallen completely off the map

his level of play was way too fake to continue...the fall back down to earth has been steep

would’ve seen the same thing for Donovan Mitchell and his fake level of play as well if he had continued on

Harden would be averaging 40 against the Lakers if not for the constant double teams
