a big factor in why they are the 1 seed is actually due to the fact that they are such a deep team. They can withstand injuries that other teams cant. Clarkson won 6th man and ingles probably would have got it if he didnt. Thats great for long regular seasons but it doesnt always translate to the playoffs where rotations are shorter and we see certain players become unplayable due to matchups Their first round matchup was against a rebuilding grizzlies. That memphis team is clearly not on the same level as the other playoff teams. The jazz dont have a truly dominant superstar player that can takeover games on the level of kawhi or even luka The top seed from last year, lakers missed both their stars for half the season. Most people had them at the top again, going into the season. Do you really see this jazz team beating last years lakers or any of the top 3 teams from the east?
Conley ruled out game 1. Ibaka is probably ruled out as well. Which player is more important? Probably Conley is my guess. Utah too reliant on threes I feel like Clippers going to win this in 6 now with Conley being ruled out game 1 and most likely game 2
Conley is the better player, but I think they can win without him. Ibaka is really important to the Clippers against Gobert. Either way, Jazz should win tonight.
I forgot Boogie was on the Clippers. Boogie out here running like he is never going to see the floor again if he stops, lol
Bro wtf Clippers are way deeper than Jazz lol Jazz only got Clarkson off the bench that I recognize as decent along with Favors. Clippers got Rondo Kennard who is balling right now, Mann, Zubac, and even Boogie showing up now lol
I don't see Mitchell as a "superstar." He fits the Lillard mold more than anything - undersized shooting guard, great scorer, but nothing compared to the real superstars in this league.
