Utah still can't play against small ball. Never forget the Rockets did it first and Utah tried to duck us because of it.
Don't get why they insist on playing Gobert. It's only hurting them. It's tough to play with a big man that doesn't shoot 3s. Doesn't matter that he is a DPOY when Clippers are hitting all those damn 3s.
They take Gobert out and think they have to play Favors. Just match up. Utah is better than the Clippers they are just too stubborn too matchup and go small. Lakers matched up with the Rockets in the bubble and we got wrecked after demolishing them game 1. Mann is Gobert's man! ninja d up!!
By the way, I'd like to apologize to Reggie Jackson. I thought he was trash last season and during his stint in the Pistons. I honestly thought his career was over. It's been entertaining watching him do work these playoffs.
He doesnt need to shoot 3s. He just needs to have one consistent post move OR be a half decent ft shooter and he would be destroying the small ball bs by forcing the double. But he cant even do that... Damn liability
game is not over, but this is the same Utah team the Rocket had no problem with. now Clippers playing small the same exact reason Utah kept getting bounced.. it wont kill Gobert to sit his ass on the bench, lol
It not just that. Clipper are shooting well from both 2 and 3 this game with 58% from 2 pt. If the Jazz could at least prevent the 2 point shot efficiency, they would be okay, but they can't stop either right now.
