Gobert getting in foul trouble off some shaky calls changed everything. I would've kept him in and dared the refs, not played into their hands.
I am curious what Westbrooks stats are when Gobert is playing. Does anybody know where I can find such data (without having to go through all play by play reports)?
Wow I checked. this happened with 9:23 left in the third and a score of 44-65. It is funny how Westbrook suddenly went of when Gobert was not on the court. If this phantom call didn't happen OKC would be fishing.... Furthermore that 5th foul was also interesting. Clearly the refs wanted a game 6.
UTAH has been dominating them the whole series, and was surprising they choked this bad, but i think Utah closes this out at home,. there crowd is tough man..
(Saw on SC) Thunder have an 8-game road playoff losing streak. Last win was 5-16-16 at Golden State 108-102. Jazz will close this out in 6.
could end up being a rookie mistake there @tmactoyao are you going to bite on the game tomorrow? okc is still alive! barely..... lol
I didn't see Game 5 and am still bitter about it lol ... obviously loved being at the Rockets game but this OKC-Utah series is one to watch. If I'm a Jazz fan, I'm PISSED beyond belief about that fourth foul call. That is absurd and changed the game drastically. I don't buy into "rigged!" stuff but calls like that play into the conspiracy theorists' hands. Utah can't blow a 25-point lead in less than 8 minutes no matter who is on the floor, but that shows how much a whistle can change a game. Also, if OKC wins the series under a barrage of Westbrook jumpers and threes, they deserve to win. I don't personally believe that's sustainable.
I did not see the game either but as a conspiracy theorist I wondered if the Reffing was questionable Honestly it is why I don't want to face OKC I think they are the most REF AIDED team in the league The Refs helped them alot in our last game with them Rocket River
Utah is night and day without Gobert. Their entire defense collapses. It was like this during the regular season as well. When he played they were one of the best teams in basketball. When he didn't they were sub-500. Mitchell gets the hype (deservedly so) but Gobert is every bit as important to what they do, quite possibly more important.
