I think Dallas isn't really any better than last year really, Clips in 5...but I guess there is always a chance that Playoff P makes things interesting...

 

Clippers in 6. Luka will give Dallas 2 games.

 

Tell me if KP stays healthy or not. If yes, Mavs in 6. If not, Clips in 6. I can see why people pick the Clips, but they played down into the 4th spot, Mavs played up to get to 5th (if you through out that ugly last game again MN, see below about that). Clips seems to be less than the sum of their parts, Mavs have been playing greater than the sum of theirs.

Unless Clips finally play up to their potential, which definitely exceeds that of the Mavs. But they haven't done that, and seem to do it less in the playoffs. Will this be the year they change that? Let's see how game 1 goes. Or even just the first quarter (Mavs win every single game they win the first quarter of. Which essentially says when the Mavs are locked in and playing well, they win. When they aren't...they don't. Although much better after the start of the season, they must be the most inconsistent team in the NBA. But that mostly shows up against bad teams, which the Clippers certainly aren't).

 

Dallas's defense has been abysmal this year. If they can't tighten that up, Clips in 6.

 

one of kawhi or luka has to lose in the first round and be labeled a loser forever (or for one year). that's all i care about.

well, and it should also be a good series.

 

Kawhi redemption or he falls further into some weird legacy purgatory. He has to realize he's playing for all of the introverts of the world. We're pulling for you, Kawhi.

 

Dallas keeps it interesting just because Luka is that damn good. I wouldn't be confident if I was a clips fan. Paul George is softer than Charmin.

 

Can't wait to see what fake injury PG has when he has a bad game.
