A guy like Jason Quick should know better. I've respected his coverage of the Blazers for many years but calling McCollum cheap and dirty was just incredibly stupid. The fallout on him from fans has been justifiably harsh. He blew years of hard earned cred in one tweet.
It's about the only place where McCollum can take out his frustration now. Calling himself a "lion" after that series... ouch. Here's the tweet from Jason Quick that had Blazers fans losing their minds. It's kind of funny/ironic because Quick overreacted to CP3's layup earlier in the year, calling it "bush league."
@Clutch and the funniest thing is CJ McCollum was born 1991, the year of the sheep in the chinese zodiac
Or Goat/Ram.....it isn't specified. He'll never be the Goat but you know. Not the time to bring the Lion and the Sheep story. Indeed. Spoiler
it's been historically deemed as goat in the warmer climates, and sheep in the cooler. so CJ being born in ohio and living in oregon, most definitely qualifies for the sheep designation
Damian Lillard Sees Blazers As Capable Of Replicating Warriors' Trajectory The Portland Trail Blazers finished the regular season with the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference but were swept in the first round by New Orleans Pelicans. Lillard believes the Pelicans did an excellent job of taking him out of the offense. "The reality of it is, their game plan was to take me out," said Lillard. "I come across halfcourt and there are two guys guarding me. There's really no excuse on my behalf. You've got to take the good with the bad. I can accept the credit when I do great things and I accept the criticism." Lillard believes the Blazers currently have potential to hit another level the way the Warriors did after their first round exit to the Clippers in 2014. "I honestly feel like our team is capable of something like that," Lillard said. Lillard also disagrees with the suggestion that the Blazers may be better off breaking up his backcourt pairing with CJ McCollum. "I mean, I don't agree with it. I think it's that simple. That's the easiest thing to say, but I don't agree with it."
Funny how "Playoff Rondo" has become a term of high performance, did everyone forget how he straight up quit on the Mavs/Rockets series not too long ago?
Funny how some people always look for negatives, be it Rondo, Lebron or Harden, players are humans, they make mistakes like all we do, just because of that dosent mean they cant do better and improve on their mistakes.
Right on cue... NBA/Blazers twitter loves this **** from 4 years ago. What has "Dame Time" done since?
