Watching the way Pelicans are playing now, you still think Portland is a better match up for GSW? GSW's road not looking like a cake walk if they face the Pels. Playoff Jrue and Rondo with Ad and Mirotic look scary.
This Pelican team can give Warriors a good series. Do you really expect any team other than the Rockets to beat the Warriors?
I remember when the Rockets lost both at home against the Blazers in 2014...I attended both..and it was just heartbreaking walking out the arena to my car. Hard to explain the feeling. Two close games barely lost. Now Blazers fans get to feel the same feeling leaving that arena.
Disagree. Boogie and AD are formidable, but are just too slow. Mirotic bringing Draymond out to the 3 point line and letting AD work against Javale and Looney is better IMO.
He and Lauri Markannen do a lot of the same things. Bulls went with the younger, cheaper option and got a nice package in a rebuild year. Great deal for both sides.
Lillard is nothing more than the Great Value version of Steph Curry...can’t believe there were a few people that wanted to trade Harden for him
All what the Pelicans need to do is at least win one in their home, and the series is over in Game 5, or in Game 6.
Good point! With Cousins, Pelicans can beat Warriors (with Curry) in 6. Durant on Mirotic Green (or Zaza) on Davis Iguodala starts
What I meant is that the Pelicans were hesitant to have the Bulls pick up the option before the trade that would give the pelicans his bird rights and committed to him for 2018-2019 with $12.5m guaranteed. This is why the trade did not go through initially, it just didn't make sense the pelicans would trade for him and not want his option picked up. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...ns-chicago-bulls-complete-nikola-mirotic-deal
