It's another playmaker on offense and another body to throw against Murray. Conley is a really good defender, so maybe Murray wouldn't have gone off today.
No team with Mitchell as there lead dog is going to sniff the finals. He is too undersized to make an impact on the defensive side of the ball. He scored 57 but a guard on the other side got 36, not mention wat the backup guards got.

Isn't this more of an indictment on the Jazz's other defensive players? I don't think Mitchell was on Murray for most of the latter half of the 4th + OT, but I could be wrong. Mitchell shouldn't need to put up 57 and stop the opponent's best player, just like how Harden shouldn't be asked to carry the offense and stop CP3 from doing CP3 things. One task usually saps the energy of the other.
I mean that he is not committed to winning a championship. He is not a bad guy for doing so and might well be in his rights, but while you are witnessing your baby being born, Clubber Lang eating boiled potatoes and thinking about nothing but winning. The other thing is that Utah paid a heavy price to get Conley on their team and he owes them his best. Baby being born or not. I guarantee you I'm not the only one that believes this way.
