Problem is Drummond and Gasol are both plodding centers, too slow to keep Ayton in check. They shoulda kept Dwight and Mcgee, both those guys are athletic and quick for their size. Dwight is like an older Ayton himself.
Ad just have no advantage against as big bodies. When he has them faced up on the perimeter he can use his dribble which is the thing that separates him
So LeBron was vaccinated? From what I gather, this mess is all about covering up Shroeder spilling the beans about LeBron being an anti-vaxxer. This the timeline: First, Shroeder says he and LeBron are the only unvaccinated Lakers. Second, Shroeder autocorrects and says he's the only unvaccinated Laker. Third or fourth, Vogel says the Lakers have not reached the 85% threshold. Fourth or third, LeBron attends a tequila event. Fifth, LeBron gives his strange, don't care none of your business comments. Sixth, league decides not ro suspend LeBron. Seventh, Vogel says Lakers will reach threshold today or tomorrow. Eighth, the NBA releases this press release seemingly implying LeBron was vaccinated. Not sure if Shroeder made his first comments before, after or during his time on Covid related suspension, but he might have been annoyed about the suspension knowing LeBron shared his views. Vogel is low-key on Shroeder's side or at least against LeBron's attitude on the vaccine with his comments about the Lakers being below the threshold. It also seems like LeBron is receiving pressure from all sides to make some sort of stand in regards to the vaccine either to further exalt him or to shame him. Fascinating.
TL;DR: We don't want LeBron to miss games. So we scrambled to find loopholes in the rules to get him off the hook.
How many more FT’s will the Lakers shoot than the Suns in game 2 ? I’ll guess 14 more. Guess and see if you’re closer than me.
Chris Paul took himself out of the game; the refs will take care of Ayton. They'll go up by at least 15 free-throws during the game, but the final difference won't be as great.
