My team beats your team 126 to 120 to win the ship Both of our defenses got shredded, my offense was slightly better than yours Offense wins championships
Guess I'll repeat myself. I've never heard the saying offense wins championships. Ok ok, I'll clarify. I know how maths works. I've never heard someone who lives and breaths professional basketball say offense wins championships. Hopefully that's a little clearer for you.
It is always so cringeworthy seeing grown men talk like 12 year olds online. I remember doing this nonsense on MSN nearly 20 years ago.
Which is why I said it first, so you can give me credit on having that amazing feat They only say defense wins ships because that is the hardest part of the game for majority of players to buy into, everybody wants to be offensive juggernaut Its why the other side of the coin cliche that is said by those who live and breathe it is that ''better offense beats better defense' (paraphrasing) or they say give me the better offense player over better defender all day everyday I wasn't questioning your math, I was speaking what actually is true that the others say privately, offense wins ships, in all major sports that deal with numbers where the team with the highest output wins
This is kind of crazy to me how fast everyone turned on Memphis and Brooks. I mean a young team thinking they are hot sh*t. it happens. The scorn these cats are getting is wild. Also for Memphis to just chuck this dude out is wild to me. Dillon's boastfulness really going to send him overseas? wow.
Would have been a different series with Adams and Clarke. Adams has that big intimidation factor to back up all the little guys **** talking. I'd love Steven Adams on the Rockets providing 25mpg with Alpi around 30. I'll slam my head through a dresser if we go after Brooks.
I think you're right. I think he ends up on the rockets. Or at least some similar team that needs a wing defender desperately enough to put up with his exhausting personality.
I think the bigger problem with Brooks is if I’m not mistaken he was the 2nd most inefficient chucker of this nba season. And I think the most inefficient of all scorers who shot the ball 13+ times per game. Basketball reference has a stat(TS added)that tracks how many points above or below league average a player scores with the scoring attempts they had. https://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2023_adj_shooting.html Last : Killian Hayes 2nd to last : Dillon Brooks 3rd to last : Terry Rozier 4th to last : Westbrook Can’t win when a player that inefficient shoots so much.
Talk all that s**t and then duck questions after you get your ass kicked. Made it 100x worse by not just taking his medicine. Embarrassed the whole team so..
I think that was before they nab started to loath this dude. But hey tilman says everyone gets a second chance, but I dont think anyone touches this guy now.
