Media now bringing up Danny Green and KCP’s statline to give LeBron an excuse. I never seen the media bring up Harden’s teammates stat line in a Harden L. Ariza went 0-11 in a game 7 but all you heard was how Harden “choked”.
I could definitely see a Portland-Toronto finals. Denver could spoil it. The clippers might get some play. But my top 3 to make finals from the west is: 1.Portland 2.Denver 3.Rockets 4.Clips.
Someone posted a picture on here of Carmelo and it showed I believe he has lost some weight. I assume he is a little quicker than a year ago so perhaps he is actually a better player currently than when he was on the Rockets.
This is Portland's series to win or lose. They are deep, they have vet experience, decent coach and they have a chip on their shoulders. Portland is definitely a team that I am afraid of facing in the playoffs. We don't just need Westbrook but we need the whole team to be ready to step up against them. If Lebron doesn't win it this year I wonder how pissed both sides will get at each other or at least at gm Rob Pelinka.
We didn't give him much of a chance for a player at the bargain price we got him though, especially when our surrounding cast was less than his range of possibilities once healthy and back in shape.
None of them seem to remember his playoff exits. He's been swept or gentlemens swept every single time. Swept last 3 years in a row. Warriors. Pelicans. Warriors. And lost in 5 the previous 3 years. Spurs. Grizzlies. Warriors.
Crazy how just 2 game winners can completely change a players perception. He wasn’t even the best player on the floor in that Rockets series. People completely forget how dominate LaMarcus Aldridge was.
True story. LaMarcus ate the Rocket's lunch that series. Didn't he score like 40 or 50 in both game 1 and 2? I feel like the series was already lost once that happened.
remember this dude getting MVP consideration in new orleans despite his teams never winning that much and the narrative was he was carrying his team with little help. reality is he just didnt belong in the discussion. great player, great numbers, but not really in sniffing distance of the real MVP types (lebron, harden, kawhi, durant, curry).
