I immediately lost interest once I saw Millsap, Murray, and Jokic conveniently in foul trouble.

It was like a sudden bucket of BS calls given to the Nuggets.

Wow referees are scandalous, 32 free throws in the first half alone?!

The Lakers were fouling too. The problem was the one sided officiating. Don't tell me LeBron and Davis only had a combined 2 fouls in the 1st half. No way. They do a lot of shoving and knocking guys around.

Think about the 2 back to back calls on Jokic 2nd quarter when wrestling with Dwight. When Scott Foster was the ref against the Rockets when Dwight was on our team he would have called both those fouls on Dwight. I'd put my money on that.

    THIS 1000 X
    this league is rigged 99%
refs made dwight worthless when he was on the rockets the way they were officiating him...not only scott foster was problem back then... all the refs were stiffling dwight... and now that hes on the lakers hes getting the calls LOL

this is why i was against getting draymond green because here, he wouldnt be 30% the player the refs let him be for the warriors...

You are absolutely right. Donkey wouldn't get away with that stuff if he wore a Rockets jersey, just like Dwight didn't.

25 in the 2nd quarter after Denver led in the 1st. After that, there was no question which team would win the game.

If you just looked at the box score, you'd see the free throws and fouls numbers weren't that much lopsided. But that 2nd quarter was what decided the game. It put three of their starters on the bench with foul trouble. And it made the Denver defense powerless to stop AD and Lebron because they could do whatever to get their way to the basket and if you touched them, it's a foul. It didn't matter if they just lowered their shoulders and bulled the way in.

And at the other end, Jokic could not fight for position without getting called for offensive foul.

Hopefully this wakes the Nuggets up. Can't sleepwalk past the Lakers' bigs like they did with the Clippers' bigs. AD, McGee and Howard are not Zubac and Harrell.

Jokic has to be better and smarter for game 2.

Also, hopefully Malone looks at the game tape and integrates MPJ into the game earlier and more often. When he was on, didn't look like anyone on the Lakers could stop him.

Show me plays where Lebron fouled someone and it wasn’t called

I watched every single minute. Bron barely used any energy to have to foul lol. He was chilling. If anything the refs protected Joker. He clearly grabbed Caruso arm on some Harden ish but Alex got the foul. Then Joker mugged I forgot who running up the court. The commentators were even like the refs are protecting him not wanting to see him foul out.

I kno y’all hate the lakers but man Denver was about as undisciplined as I seen a team that 2nd quarter.

I think some of LeBron's leaning in the shoulder bulldozing would be called on other teams. I've seen enough of LeBron's pushing, shoving, and blatant fouls in games that go unchecked but called on the opposite team to see he's treated differently. Kobe was the same way. You couldn't lay a finger on him. It was nauseating.

AD ran across court and plowed right into Jokic sending him tumbling and the refs didn't even blink an eye. Jokic would have been called doing that.

Pretty boring game 1. Hopefully Denver makes a series out of it.

Funny how a team suddenly became "undisciplined" in one quarter. Even Portland, a much worse defensive team than Denver, never got that treatment.
