Yao will have to improve his agility some..cause right now they are playing more of a zone..Next year Yao wont be able to camp in the lane..and if he cant get over quick enough...he will get "pseudo dunked on" a lot like the other night versus germany.

These refs maybe. I don't know about the NBA refs, though.

But what do I know?

Well, Rudy was Rudy at the half. He didn't say anything really definitive about the way Ming is playing -- just that the "sky is the limit." I love Rudy, but he is not an information machine.

the chinese guards are TERRIBLE on defense... they cant stay in front of their players.... if you notice, the PFs and Centers are doing nothing against China... its the perimeter guys who are killing them....

the chinese guards get burned so bad that yao has to help everytime and gets in positions for fouls...

The second foul...he was going after a loose ball along with pierce..and they hit each other but pierce fell cause Yao weighs more..that one was iffy. I thought it couldve been a no call.

The third foul was a foul BUT ...the 2 guys fouled him before Yao got him...In the NBA..his teamates wouldve just raised their hands and taken the foul...

Kind of off-topic, but does anybody else have a strange urge to go to Turkey?:D

Rudy T look pretty excited. Didn't say anything really new, but he looked as giddy as a school girl!

    :D

Hmm...I learned something new. Didn't know the ball had to touch the rim, and not leave your hand, before the shot clock goes off. Interesting.

WOW...3rd quarter and China leading US by two points. Last game the US was like 30 points ahead!

Dang, Ming backed Davis up all the way, while posting up, and got a layup. Right, he has no strength.
