The Nuggets are really impressive. They have so many energy guys, and I love the athleticism and defensive presence of their front line (Nene, Martin, Andersen). They've got very good players at every position.

very impressed with the nuggets defense. they are being very physical out there and everyone seems to have quick hands and feet.

if the mavs can't match their physicality then they can't win.

Their frontcourt is pretty much the anti-thesis of ours.

Dallas didn't give themselves a chance with their 20 turnovers. Kidd with 8 turnovers  Would've been nice to have a guy like Devin Harris who could blow by Billups.

i predicted denver in 5 with most of the games being blowouts. so far its true. great game by denver today. i love seeing the mavs getting blown out. one thing that surprised me was birdman's one on one defense. It has improved tremendously. he is great shot-blocker but he is also improved his one on one defense. i love watching him, after wafer he is my favorite player to watch in the league. great job birdman.

Birdman actually has a damn high basketball IQ and is a smart defender. I've noticed many times this season that he'll talk to the refs to really understand what they're allowing and what they aren't. It's a small thing, but a big deal in the long run. He's in the same category as Battier and Artest in my opinion, about understanding the game on the defensive side and knowing how to avoid a foul. Yao is in that category too btw...he's become an elite defender in understanding the ref game, but Yao still has quickness issues (unavoidable) and makes a few too many mistakes.

Dallas started hot but Denver surprised me with their tough physical adjustments. The Nuggets can win but they aren't consistent.I was impressed with their maturity tonight.
Dallas' old weaknesses on defending the paint and their inability to score in the low post reared it's ugly head tonight.I would have never expected a 6 point,6 assist show from Billups to lead to a good win.
No compliants from me tonight. :)

As I said earlier, Nuggets will win. They have enough bodies containing Dirk. Mavericks can't guard Nene at all or Melo at all. Not to mention they have J.R Smith coming off the bench. Nuggets in 6.

Plenty of reasons to dislike either team. No disgust. I need to get to the bottom of this. It's almost as if neither team has won anything to speak of.

Privately I have to be for the Mavs otherwise I might never get laid again. Publicly, damn these bastards. True love means she can be a Mavs fan and you can look past it. Basically you have to ignore her. Lots of smiling and nodding.

    What do we expect tonight?

I like Denver by 12. Good game until the fourth.
