They are lucky to be down only 8, and that's with Yao playing all 20 minutes and dominating. Maybe somehow, some way they can pull this thing out and advance.
Yao's always swarmed by defenders. And when he's single-covered, he couldn't seal off his man, either fronted or allowing his man to hang a hand in front of him.
i'm sure if you chant something as annoying as the yao ming song, you'll learn to hate it too..too bad china has barely any reliablity.

China doesn't deserve to advance. Yao can't carry them all the time and China getting lucky and going to the next round will only mask its problems - namely, WNBA D-League caliber guards.
100% honest, no BULLSH*T and all jokes aside.... I dont think these guys are WNBA caliber, and they are definitely not d league. To me it looks more like div 3 college ball or maybe HS ball
I actually meant the D-leage of the WNBA. I know there isn't one as of yet but after the WBCs are over, one will be created just for China's guards.
Actually that is not completely true. They are only successful maybe once in every 3 times they try to get the ball into Yao the either turn it over or forced to shoot something out desperation. They are just pathetic ball handlers and slow. Yao maybe the quickest player on the team. Sometimes I think it would better bringing the ball up the court himself. At least he wouldn't have to worry about getting the ball. Not to be completely negative about the guards but very team know the key to beating china is limiting Yao and the best way to do that is to make it difficult to get the ball to him. Still China will never go anywhere until get a decent guard. Maybe they could pay someone like Arroyo or Barbosa to move to China and become a citizen.
