Bosh is barely a low post scorer, even Scola has a better back to the basket game. No, they dont have an inside presence.

    Pound the ball inside

Interesting points. Here are my thoughts on the zone defense vs them.

-Both LeBron and Wade are fast enough and strong enough to bulldoze through the clogged paint (especially LeBron obviously).

-The Big 3 all have good outside shots actually, although Wade/LBJ get a lot of those shots because ppl fear their drive.

think about it, last year lebron took mo williams and old shaq to the best record in the NBA.

Even Wade won 47 games with JO and beasley

bosh's team would have made the playoffs if not for his injury.

These guys are the best players in the NBA right now.

You can say "pack it in" all you want, but with slashers of the caliber of LeBron and Wade on the same team, that won't be as easy as you think. If you collapse on one, they can alley-oop or just dish to the other for the finish. It's going to take them a while to figure things out on offense, but when they do, the Heat will be fine.

On offense, I agree with the "pound it inside" viewpoint. With both Wade and LeBron as perimeter defenders on the floor at the same time, the Heat could end up destroying teams' offensive rhythm. This is what the Bulls did in MJ's heyday and it's why they were so dominant. Sometimes they would toy with teams and then just decide to obliterate them with suffocating defense. The Heat may be similar.

Everything is predicated on who they fill the roster with. Miami's needs a PG who can play off the ball, hit open jumpers and (ideally) also play defense. 99% of the time LeBron or Wade will be at the point position in half-court. At C, they need a decent post defender, not a great one. Preferably their C could run the floor too.

Morey said they will be a 45 win team.

    In Morey I trust.
