Blake show would have a pretty difficult time himself 'slipping' and falling all over the place without getting any whistles. He would have a particularly hard time playing defense while laying on the floor.

Is it me, or are there a lot of new young refs I have never seen before. They are always the worse ref on the court.
Lol, true...I remember when England played against Germany, I think it was South Africa World Cup. At one time, the ball deflected from goal post and bounced from at least 20 cm BEHIND goal line back into the court. TV showed it over and over, but the goal was not recognized. Soccer's referees' work is much harder than NBA's IMO. The court is much bigger and ball travels faster, so it's tough for the main referee to be as close to the action as possible. And since the score is always very low compared to basketball or even handball, every goal counts. This basically means that if a referee in NBA makes 3-4 bad calls during the game, most of the time those calls won't affect the outcome or the team on receiving end of bad calls can fight trough it. Meanwhile soccer referee is constantly faced with game-changing calls throughout the game.
People say this like Harden flops all over the court. The truth is that he drives into the pain looking to score and people foul him as he's doing so. How is this proven? He led the league in and 1s. Want to get Harden off the FT line then keep him out of your paint.
